Singer/Songwriter Bluey …(that’s actually his birth name) reminds me of a perfect cross between Stevie Wonder and Andre 3000, with the dress sense of Farnsworth and a dash of skate board P.
He’s young, fun and has what seems to be bags of energy. With a sound similar to that of Andre 3000 it comes as no surprise that Bluey names 3000 as one of his musical influences, along with MJ, N.E.R.D and Gnarls Barkley to name just a few.
With that said I must give credit where credit is due, because he can actually SANG! And he’s not bad to look at either. An alumni of the famous Brit School, he hails from London and has been singing since he was in nappies. He was a cast member in West Ends ‘The Lion King’ where he met one of his best friends ‘Master Shortie’…see everybody’s connected.
Currently unsigned, Bluey has a single which is doing the rounds on Youtube entitled ‘I Know’ . He’s also no stranger to Tube’s & Subways of LDN & NYC – and I really like this video of him causing a melodious disturbance on the underground, as it really shows off his vocal skills...more so than his music video
